I Highly Recommend Natalie at Rock Dog!
You can trust her to give your dog the best training and fitness they need. Natalie is a creative trainer who sees each dog as a individual and formulates a training and fitness plan that’s best for your dog. She takes into consideration breed age and lifestyle. Natalie also uses real life obstacles and distractions in her training such as parks, restaurants, and hikes anything a dog might encounter in life. I called Rock dog after meeting Natalie on a hike and seeing her dogs so well behaved I got her card and called upon her services. She came and did a evaluation on my recently adopted dog who was showing severe cases of anxiety and fear aggression as well as pulling on a leash for walks. Natalie started working with Arthur and right away I saw she had a passion, love and understanding of dogs and there needs. After a few weeks My Arthur was a totally different dog he can go everywhere and walks beautiful on a leash. Natalie also helped my bulldog loose weight in her fitness program and he is a much happier boy. Both my dogs are now part of Natalie’s pack and are regulars of Rock Dog!
Natalie Gustafsson (Shapiro) was great with our 4yo Chihuahua, Bella. As a “throwaway” from a ghetto puppy mill, she had all the well-known hallmarks — detachment anxiety, extreme fear/aggression of men and strangers, heck, fearful of everything.
Through absolute serendipity, we met Natalie and we were ready to try anything. Bella was almost instantly a different dog with Natalie. We’re the ones that needed the training. We did several “play dates“ with other dogs as well as “one on one” time with Natalie. All well worth it.
Every problem area is significantly improved, Bella now goes shopping in her shoulder bag, gets used to guys after 2-3 visits and her backyard, “Owns It!” She even has let a guest dog come over as we consider another rescue.

Natalie helped socialize my quirky golden doodle, Biscuit, and in the process of accepting him into her heart and her home, helped me come to better understand and appreciate some of those quirks. Under Natalie's tutelage, Biscuit gained self confidence and, more and more, I was able to leave him home without fear of what I would return to. Natalie also turned my once-reluctant mountain climber into an avid trail hiker. All this, and I came to count Natalie as a friend in the process. She's delightful to work with, and I couldn't recommend her more.
